This is the other palace of importance built by the Holkers. The palace is an elegant structure and is still used for important functions and ceremonies, as was its purpose in the past. The sprawling gardens of the palace and the interiors make it an important landmark in Indore.

This museum exhibits many artifacts from the prehistoric to modern era. The most interesting among these are the Paramara sculptures from the 11th and 12th centuries found at Hinglajgarh. The museum has an impressive collection of coins, arms, armors and paintings.

Once prettiest building of Indore this Hall was constructed in 1904. Originally named King Edwards Hall it was renamed in 1948 as Mahatma Gandhi Hall. Its architectural style is Indo-Gothic, made in seoni stone, its domes and steeples are a landmark of Indore city today. It has a four-faced clock tower in front, because of which it is locally known as Ghanta Ghar. The central hall has a capacity for 200 people and is most popular for the various book & painting exhibitions, sales fairs held throughout the year. It also has a library, children's park, and temple.

Ujjain is situated at a distance of 56 km from Indore. The city of Ujjain is one of the ancient cities of the country. It is considered to be one of the seven sacred places to attain Moksha. The city attracts a great deal of pilgrims, as it is the abode of one of the Jyotirlingas. Ujjain city of India is located on the banks of River Shipra and exists from the early days of the Indian civilization. The 108 Jain temples date back 1,500 years, all arranged on the steps of a hill.

This magnificent temple is one of the major sites covered by the Madhya Pradesh tour packages. This Jain temple is intricately adorned by glasses that reflect 21 images of Lord Mahavir, which correspond to the 21 Jain Tirthankaras. The splendid glass work inside the temple is a fascinating example of master craftsmanship. This temple is also called Seth Hukumchand temple, after its builder.

This magnificent temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Built in 9th century, the temple is one of the oldest temples in Madhya Pradesh. Situated in Indore Fort, the temple is more than 100 feet high making it the highest building in the fort. The structure perfectly embodies architectural styles of Dravidians and Indo-Aryans. The roof of the temple is built in Dravidian style whereas the walls and the decorations on it are predominantly Indo-Aryan. Like in other temples built in the same era, there are no mandapams or pillared halls in this temple, which is quite surprising.

Another place to visit is Gomatgiri, housing a 21 feet statue of Lord Gomateshwar. In 1981, the M.P. government donated a hillock to the Jain Samaj, which constructed a 21 foot statue of Gomateshwar, a replica of the Bahubali statue of Shrawanbegola. They also built 24 marble temples with shikars one for each Tirthankar. Gomatgiri is approached by a lovely picturesque drive 10 minutes from the city airport. It also has a guest house, a dharamshala and a restaurant.
